Business Park Vordingborg
– Exit 41

Zealand’s Southernmost Business Area

Exit 41 – Zealand’s last exit when driving south on the E47 motorway. Or conversely, the first on Zealand when the motorway leads northward from southern regions. But the location is not just a motorway exit and entrance; here lies a thriving business park – Business Park Vordingborg.

Construction, contracting, restaurant, and sales businesses are just some of the palette that catches your eye when you drive off the E47 motorway at exit 41. Companies often grow after moving to the business park. This is due to both the space opportunities, synergy, and the strategically good location right by the motorway, which ensures good logistical possibilities, more customers, and increased visibility.

“There was not as much traffic on Præstegårdsvej as there is here in Business Park Vordingborg. Here, there’s full traffic pressure all day long, and it means a lot to us that there’s a lot of visibility,” says co-owner and director of H. Hansen Automobiles in Stensved, Kristian Hansen.

“I would estimate that we have increased our turnover by 50 percent since we moved,” he adds.

Soon, the long-awaited Fehmarn Belt tunnel will also open at Rødby, making the infrastructure at Exit 41 location even more attractive if you are a company that exports. Additionally, from Business Park Vordingborg, it’s only five kilometers to Vordingborg Harbor, and to reach the E47 motorway itself, the car only needs to move 500 meters.

All in all, Business Park Vordingborg ensures a sharp logistical location in a municipality that actively works for the green transition and companies’ opportunities for collaboration, synergy, and growth.

> Bang A/S

In Business Park Vordingborg Exit 41, the electrical installation company Bang A/S is located. The company moved to the location in 2020 after their previous location became too small for them, and since then they have grown with more than 14 new employees.

"We have quickly become a well-known name, a familiar face, a known company, and therefore it has been easier for us to recruit new employees. It has also been easier to get new customers. The location makes a difference. It's easy for our employees to get to the company. And it's easy for us to get out to our customers," says owner Lars Bang.

Lars Bang works focused in the company to reduce the company's climate impact. This includes the use of electric cars and waste sorting. In his electrical company, he has a declared goal of being free from fossil fuel cars by 2030. Already now, Lars Bang has invested in several vans that run on electricity.

"We care a lot about the climate, and not least the environment. Therefore, both in our company and with the product we deliver to our customers, we are very attentive to creating energy and climate-saving solutions, so that we can collectively contribute to taking care of the planet's resources," says Lars Bang.

But the biggest sustainable milestone is the company's waste sorting. "We have introduced a waste sorting system so that most of our waste is recycled for other purposes. Right now we sort into 33 fractions, but we aim for it to be even more!" said the owner in 2022.

> Sandgren Anlæg

The construction company Sandgren Anlæg ApS has been located in Business Park Vordingborg since 2021. The company was established in 2007 by a 21-year-old Kristian Sandgren and won Børsen's Gazelle in 2023 because the company had tripled its turnover over the past four years.

The construction company employs over 16 employees in all types of contracting work. However, it is primarily sewer and construction work that the company performs. The majority of the company's customers are within the public sector, but work is also carried out for private individuals and other companies.

It's not only the company's good employees that contribute to the company's positive development. The strategic location in Business Park Vordingborg Exit 41 has also had an impact on the company's wild growth.

"Once we had looked at the area, we had no doubt that it was right to locate ourselves here. Primarily because of the motorway, which is 30 seconds away. It fits well with our logistics. We primarily drive northward, so this is on the way," says owner Kristian Sandgren.

According to the owner of Sandgren Anlæg ApS, the company moved because they needed more organized facilities. Previously, they operated from a private address on Bogø, and now Kristian Sandgren is happy to appear as professional externally as the company really is, with their address in one of the municipality's exciting business parks.
